Dividend Kings

Dividend kings are a rare breed of companies that have raised their dividend for at least 50 consecutive years. Currently their are only 26 companies that have achieved this feat through periods of inflation, oil booms, technology busts, rising interest rates, recessions, natural disasters, wars, terrorist attacks, market crashes, and more. Any business that has made it through every environment imaginable while maintaining regular dividend increases is worth looking into. Note: Altria (MO) is technically not a dividend king yet (49 years) but it is worth tracking with this group.
