Portfolio Update – 1 Reduction, 1 Buy and 4 Increases.
ARCC: Reduced Allocation from 2.61% to 2.05%
ARCC was trading back up to it’s recent highs in the $22.30 range, so I took some profits and lowered my asset class weighting in Business Development Companies (BDC’s). Current yield 8.56%
GPIQ: Bought (1.3% Allocation)
Using the assets freed up from the trimming of ARCC and some cash I opened New Position in this covered call index fund based on the Nasdaq 100. The total return for GPIQ since its October 27, 2023 inception is 40.95% (just 3% below the S&P 500 for over the same time period) not too shabby for a fund paying a 10.23% yield.
XFLT: Increased Allocation from 3.38% to 3.82%
Averaging down on my position and increasing my yield-on-cost as this utilities & infrastructure fund is trading at the lows of its trading channel. Current yield 13.92%.
STK: Increased Allocation from 1.66% to 1.92%
Averaging down on my position and increasing my yield-on-cost as this growth and income tech fund is also trading at the lows of its trading channel from the recent tech sell-off. Current yield 6.65% (including special dividends).
RLTY: Increased Allocation from 1.67% to 1.90%
Adding a little to my position on the recent price dip. Current yield 9.07%
SVOL: Increased Allocation from 2.22% to 2.34%
Adding a little to my position on the recent volatility price dip. Current yield 15.36%
