Bevy of End of Year Dividend Increases

With the end of the year quickly approaching many companies are getting in their 2019 dividend increases. Here are the increases announced in the first half of December for the dividend growth stocks we follow.

• Abbott Laboratories (ABT) announced its next dividend of $0.36 per share, a 12.5% increase from ABT’s  previous payout of $0.32. New current yield is 1.67%
• Kennedy-Wilson (KW) announced its next dividend of $0.22 per share, a 4.76% increase from KW’s  previous payout of $0.21. New current yield is 3.97%
• American Express (AXP) announced its next dividend of $0.43 per share, a 10.26% increase from AXP’s  previous payout of $0.39. New current yield is 1.38%
• Broadcom (AVGO) announced its next dividend of $3.25 per share, a 22.64% increase from AVGO’s  previous payout of $2.65. New current yield is 4.12%
• Amgen (AMGN) announced its next dividend of $1.60 per share, a 10% increase from AMGN’s previous payout of $1.45. New current yield is 2.70%
• Roper Technologies (ROP) announced its next dividend of $0.5125 per share, a 11% increase from ROP’s previous payout of $0.4625. New current yield is 0.58%
• Edison International (EIX) announced its next dividend of $0.64 per share, a 4% increase from EIX’s previous payout of $0.61. New current yield is 3.52%
• Realty Income Corporation (O) announced its next monthly dividend of $0.2275 per share, a 0.22% increase from O’s previous monthly payout of $0.227. (Note: Realty Income raises its dividend quarterly.) New current yield is 3.77%
• American Tower (AMT) announced its next dividend of $1.01 per share, a 6.32% increase from AMT’s previous payout of $0.95. New current yield is 1.90%
• Royal Caribbean Cruises (RCL) announced its next dividend of $0.78 per share, a 11.43% increase from RCL’s previous payout of $0.70. New current yield is 2.48%
• C.H. Robinson Worldwide (CHRW) announced its next dividend of $0.51 per share, a 2% increase from CHRW’s previous payout of $0.50. New current yield is 2.66%
• Eastman Chemical (EMN) announced its next dividend of $0.66 per share, a 6.45% increase from EMN’s previous payout of $0.62. New current yield is 3.36%
• Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMY) announced its next dividend of $0.45 per share, a 9.76% increase from BMY’s previous payout of $0.41. New current yield is 2.82%
• WEC Energy Group (WEC) announced its next dividend of $0.63 per share, a 2% increase from WEC’s previous payout of $0.59. New current yield is 2.83%
• Stryker (SYK) announced its next dividend of $0.58 per share, a 10.58% increase from SYK’s previous payout of $0.52. New current yield is 1.14%
• Ecolab (ECL) announced its next dividend of $0.47 per share, a 2.17% increase from ECL’s previous payout of $0.46. New current yield is 3.36%
• Mastercard (MA) announced its next dividend of $0.40 per share, a 21.21% increase from MA’s previous payout of $0.33. New current yield is 0.54%
