Updated fair value estimates and dividend raises!
The fair value estimates for the Challengers Watchlist has been updated. There were three increases and three decreases since they were last updated, as follows:
Fair Value Increases
BA from $141 to $151
IR from $70 to $71
UPS from $103 to $105
Fair Value Decreases
PAYX from $48 to $45
PFE from $38 to $37
WHR from $189 to $183
Also, three dividend growth stocks that we follow on our watchlists increased their dividend payments to shareholders.
McCormick & Company (MKC)
Raised its quarterly dividend by 9.30% to 47 cents/share ($1.88 annually). This makes 31 years in a row that this dividend champion has raised its dividend. It has a 5 year dividend growth rate of 9.0% and a 10 year dividend growth rate of 9.6%
Disney (DIS)
Raised its semi-annual dividend by 9.90% to 78 cents/share ($1.56 annually). A few years ago Disney changed from paying dividends annually to semi-annually, it would be nice if they payed quarterly, but is it expensive to distribute their dividends because of so many single shareholders (parents that buy a share for their children). This is the 7th consecutive year Disney has raised its dividend. Their 5 year dividend growth rate is 31%/year, and their 10 year rate averages 19%/year.
WEC Energy Group (WEC)
Raised its quarterly dividend by 5.10% to 52 cents/share ($2.08 annually). This dividend contender has raised its dividend for the past 14 years in a row. It has a 5 year dividend growth rate of 16.6%/year, and a 10 year growth rate of 14.80%/year.
Give Yourself a Raise
If you own any of these three great companies and are using my DGI Portfolio Tracker googlesheet you need to update the ‘Annual Div/Share’ cell to the new annual dividend payment amount and see your annual income and yield-on-cost go up. I love doing this!
If you are not using my portfolio tracker spreadsheet you should, because when you measure your performance, your performance improves. This spreadsheet is designed to track important dividend growth investing metrics, such as, yield-on-cost, dividend growth rate, and sector allocation.
